Advanced conference information

Alan Howarth MP, Minster for Arts, DCMS has recently confirmed that he will
provide the keynote lecture at the CoFHE Millennium Conference in Cardiff,
Wales, UK on 17 April 2000 at 1.45pm. Mr Howarth will outline the current
policy developments and agenda for libraries within the UK in addition to
outlining important developments within the four home countries.
 
Our two other key note speakers on Tuesday 18 April and Wednesday 19 April
respectively will be :
 
Kate Anderson, Further Education Funding Council (England) who will expound
on how the Funding Council plan to develop improved professional
partnerships with college librarians / learning resource managers ;

And, Professor Bob Fryer on recent and forthcoming developments in Ufi.
