RECORDS MANAGER (Corporate Projects) Staffordshire County Council (£22,194- £23,259) The Document and Records Management Service, Staffordshire County Council is responsible for supplying a wide range of record and information management services to client departments within the Council. The Unit is committed to excellence in the provision of all its services. The Records Manager (Corporate Projects) will play an active part in the professional management team of the service and report to the Corporate Records Manager. The main focus of the role is in the provision of corporate record services to Staffordshire County Council. The main duties will include working with senior managers in preparing the county council response to freedom of Information legislation, working on corporate records projects, briefing senior mangers on records management and related subjects, participation in the delivery of training services and developing information resources to support corporate projects. The post is based at the County Council Record Centre, Stafford and is initially for three years You will possess a relevant degree and a postgraduate qualification in records/information management or equivalent. Considerable experience in a professional records management role is essential as is a proven track record in managing records projects. You will need a thorough understanding of current professional practices and records legislation. You will have excellent organisational and analytical skills and be a confident and proficient communicator.
