selling and supporting the QuickAddress range of address management software
from £100 off-the-shelf programs to £100k mainframe client server systems.

Job Summary

The role is to assist the Records Manager in the capture, control, retrieval
and ultimate disposal of all records generated in the course of business in
all formats.

Key tasks

Ongoing Finite projects

*	To assist with locating/replacing lost documentation in the Customer
files. 
*	To remove the filing backlog for pipeline customers.
*	To assist in the completion of the Contents Checklists project with
the completion of checklists for the VAR files.
*	To ensure and maintain the order of the Customer files according to
the Filing Conventions.

Recurring Tasks

*	To assist in the maintenance of the new records control systems for
customer files and licences implemented under Siebel, including file
retrieval.  
*	To record receipt of all order documentation on the Access Siebel
Link and, post Phase 2, on Siebel. 
*	Responsible for all current filing and creation of new files.
*	Responsible for the filing of correspondence with Pipelines upon
their transition to current customers.

Additional Tasks for Legal Department

*	Completion, despatch and tracking of Confidentiality Agreements.
*	Responsible for amending all customer detail changes on Siebel.

Skill Set of the Individual

*	University Graduate, ideally 2.1 and above with 3 A levels (min
20pts)
*	Possessing or interested in studying for an MA in Archives and
Records Management.
*	Willingness to learn and understand the issues involved in the
implementation and operation of records systems. 
*	Strong organisational skills - able to handle multiple tasks with
minimal supervision.
*	Demonstrated strong communication skills, both oral and written.
*	Ability to liase with staff at all levels.
*	Must have initiative and demonstrate a pro-active approach to tasks
Ability to multitask and prioritise.
*	Positive and professional at all times.
*	Proficient in Office 97 package, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
Access and Outlook.

Salary

In the region of £17 - 18k depending on experience

Benefits
20 days holiday, with one extra day per calendar year (after a complete
Jan-Jan has been worked) up to a maximum of 25 days
