Edinburgh University Library Project Officer RSLP Project This is one of several fixed-term archive posts created in the University of Edinburgh as a result of Research Support Library Programme (RSLP) funding. It is for 14 months in duration from date of start. This collaborative project, “Missionary Collections in the UK: A Project to Facilitate and Improve Access” will require the Project Officer to create collection level descriptions for relevant archival holdings in both the Special Collections Division of Edinburgh University Library, and in the Centre for the Study of Christianity in the Non-Western World, at New College. A professionally qualified, experienced archivist is required. Familiarity with listing according to a recognised archival standard (e. g. ISAD(G) ) will be essential. The Project Officer must have good computing skills ideally with some familiarity with web-based finding aids. He/she must be well-organised, self motivated and have good committee, administrative and report writing skills. The post is on the AL2 Salary Scale and the salary range is (£18,915- 24,479).
