The DeustoTech Mobility Research Laboratory (https://bit.ly/2Gaooes) 
from the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Spain) is looking for PhD 
students in Artificial Intelligence. The positions are directed to 
promising young students with a Master’s Degree or about to complete it. 
Applications from women are especially welcomed.

The selected PhD students will be offered 3-year employment contract 
(including full social security). The annual gross salary for the first 
two years is aprox. 14.500€ and 18,000€ for the third year.

*AREAS OF INTEREST*

We are looking for PhD students with a background in Computer Science, 
Computer Engineering or related areas who are interested in working with 
one of the following techniques or fields:

     - Machine learning
     - Deep learning
     - Data mining
     - Big Data
     - Metaheuristics
     - Evolutionary Algorithms

And its application to one or more of the next areas:

     - Intelligent Transportation Systems
     - Travel demand analysis
     - Traffic demand analysis
     - Logistic systems
     - Smart mobility
     - Smart Cities
     - Autonomous driving

*REQUIREMENTS*

-    Candidates should have a first class or good 2.1 honours degree in 
Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related areas.
-    An appropriate degree at master’s Level will be mandatory in order 
to access to the PhD program (applicants finishing a Master’s degree 
along this academic year will also be considered).
-    Proficiency in spoken and written English is desired; knowledge of 
Spanish is NOT a requirement.
