We are running a one-day workshop on 11 December 2014 in Sheffield that is aimed at individuals who are looking to evaluate, or are planning to use SharePoint 2013 to deliver an intranet.
The functional and user boundaries of what an "intranet" should be are explored, with respect to SharePoint's feature set and approach to information management. Full details can be viewed here: http://www.i-b-e.co.uk/events/23/sharepoint-for-intranets.html
Run by Marc Stephenson from Metataxis, the day will provide a Microsoft independent overview, highlighting the potential pitfalls and detail of implementing the product from an information management and user perspective, rather than from a technology perspective. The workshop will focus on real-world experiences and practical techniques.
The course is based on SharePoint 2013, but will highlight differences between SharePoint 2010 and 2013 throughout the course. Live SharePoint 2013 demonstrations will be used to illustrate the training. Questions and attendee debate will be encouraged throughout the day and attendees will be given ample opportunity to ask organisation-specific questions as needed.
As the workshop is highly interactive, places are limited to 20 delegates. Cost to attend is £375 + VAT, and you can register here: http://www.i-b-e.co.uk/register.html?pageid=23. For more information, please contact [log in to unmask] or 0161 882 0821.
Kind regards
