Hello everybody,
I'm a part-time science teacher at a comprehensive school in north London and
I also work as a TV producer specialising in science programmes.
At the moment I am working on a film, made from the perspective of a school
teacher, which will seek to answer the question "why is science important?" I'm
also producing a "collective blog" at www.whyscience.co.uk where I am
encouraging people to leave their responses to the question in the form of
text, video, audio or other type of contribution.
Please take a look at the site - it already has contributions from the likes of
Simon Singh, Susan Blackmore and Jim Al-Khalili. Please also consider taking
part and posting something on the site.
Thanks,
Alom Shaha
