This will involve working with academic staff to deliver existing and future funded projects, help to market IDeA both internally as well as externally, nationally and internationally, and to help grow IDeA activities by attracting more funded projects. The Associate will also work alongside academic staff, helping to enhance the delivery of teaching provision by linking educational class material to industry challenges. The Associate will also work with research active staff to enhance the impact of research projects and proposals by acting as a conduit between theory, method and practice.

The Associate should have strong modelling skills and will have strong academic qualifications in Operational Research, Management Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or related disciplines, and preferably an MSc or PhD. In addition, the Associate will have good interpersonal skills, be capable of working independently or part of a team, and able to manage a growing portfolio of KE activity. The Associate will join a lively team working in Management Science within Strathclyde Business School. During the recent Research Excellence Framework, Strathclyde Business School was ranked #1 in Scotland, and #5 in the UK.
