Quantum Chemistry and Quantum Computing Postdoctoral Fellowship
A postdoctoral position in the Whitfield group at Dartmouth College is available in the field of quantum chemistry and quantum computing. The main area of this position will focus on developing quantum algorithms for the simulation of fermions to advance the applications of quantum computing to chemistry. We will be incorporating modern quantum chemistry techniques into quantum algorithm development for noisy intermediate scale quantum computers. Highly motivated candidates with a PhD in quantum computing, physics, or theoretical chemistry are encouraged to apply. Applications by Americans and members of underrepresented groups in the science are likewise encouraged.
Application materials include a statement of interest, a curriculum vita with publication list, and contacts for two references. You may also include up to two publications. Materials should be combined into a single PDF and sent to [log in to unmask] with the subject heading, “Postdoctoral Position.” The initial appointment is for 1 year with potential for renewal.
