The Institutional Web Management Workshop, IWMW 2013, is now open for 
bookings.  This is the 17th in the series of this annual event which is 
aimed at those with responsibilities for the provision on institutional 
Web services.  This year's event will be held at the University of Bath 
on 26-28 June.

The event will feature 17 plenary talks which are listed at 
http://iwmw.ukoln.ac.uk/iwmw2013/talks/. A summary of the plenary talks

In addition to the plenary talks there are 17 parallel sessions, which 
last for 90 minutes - see http://iwmw.ukoln.ac.uk/iwmw2013/sessions/

This  year we have extended the programme and broadened the scope of the 
event.  Those working in academic libraries may be particularly 
interested in the following plenary talks:

  * Turning our Attention to Supporting Research (P4) by Amber Thomas,
    manager of the academic technologies team at the University of Warwick.
  * E tu MOOC? Massive Online Considerations (P3) by Kyriaki
    Anagnostopoulou, head of the e-leaning team at the University of Bath.
  * Stop Trying to Avoid Losing and Start Winning: How BS 8878 Reframes
    the Accessibility Question (P5)  by Jonathan Hassell, lead author of
    the BS 8878 code of practice on Web accessibility
  * The Inside-Out University (P7) by Martin Hamilton,  Head of Internet
    Services at Loughborough University
  * The Delicious Discomfort Of Not Knowing: How to Lead Effectively
    Through Uncertainty (P13) by Neil Denny

as well as workshop sessions on:

  * The Institutional Web Site and the Institutional Repository:
    Addressing Challenges of Integration (A4)
  * Digital Storytelling (A1)
  * Analytics - What is Changing and Why Does it Matter? (A2)
  * Interfacing Google Analytics with Google Sheets for Primary and
    Secondary Data Analysis (A6)
  * Living in Uncertain Times... or How to Become More Resilient (A5)
  * Technical Project Management: Top Tips for Our Times (A8)
  * A Practical Guide to Delivering Content Strategy in the UK (B1)
  * Open Up: Open Data in the Public Sector (B2)
  * Managing Your Professional Online Reputation (B3)
  * Creating a Multimedia CV or Project Summary (B4)
  * Adventures with Augmented Reality  - for which Kate Robinson,
    University of Bath Librarians is a co-facilitator (B5)
  * Save Money and Make Things Better with Linked Open Data (B6)
  * Getting the Best out of Consultants (B7)

The event costs 350 which includes two nights accommodation, conference 
dinner and a wine reception at the Roman Baths.
