RGS-IBG Post-Socialist Geographies Research Group
Suggestions for sessions or modules for the RGS-IBG Annual Conference,
January 2001.
The Committee would welcome suggestions for the possible titles and
content of sessions or modules for the 2001 conference. We would
particularly welcome suggestions from other RGS-IBG Research/Study
Groups for joint sessions but any individual or group can put forward
proposals.
The PSGRG is entitled to request a full-day (four modules, roughly 1.5
hours per module) slot plus a half-day post-graduate slot (two
modules) and up to a full-day (four modules) of joint sessions with
other Research or Study Groups.
If you wish to convene a module or a session or joint session on a
particular topic which is relevant to the PSGRG please send a title,
short description and name(s) of convenors to the Group’s Secretary,
Dr Craig Young, in advance of the 2000 Annual Conference indicating
how many modules you wish to take up. Sessions for RGS-IBG 2001 will
be considered at the Group’s AGM at the 2000 Annual Conference in
Brighton. Committee members will be happy to discuss any proposals
informally before the AGM.
