There is a fairly serious matter of copyright that authors need to
negotiate. Most publishers prohibit alternative forms of publication
that may undermine their sales. However, if anyone can give me a
firm guarantee of copyright (in writing) and wants to post something
of relevance to current discussions then I will happily place it on the
list web page for download.
We recently discussed this issue in relation to our disability reading
group at Leeds, wondering whether we might open up some
discussion and materials on line too. Interestingly, our next piece of
reading material will be the UPIAS 'Fundamental Principles of
Disability' document which is already available to download from the
list web page at:
www.mailbase.ac.uk/lists-a-e/disability-research/files/upias.rtf
If anyone else would like to (re)read this piece during November, it
might be fun to discuss it on list as well as in our group?
Best Wishes
