DEPARTMENT OF SOCIOLOGY AND SOCIAL POLICY
RESEARCH FELLOW/SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW
Required from January 2000 for a period of 34 months, to work with the
ESRC Research Group for the study of Care, Values and the Future of
Welfare (CAVA) on collective expression of welfare needs in relation to
partnership and parenting. An experienced researcher, you will have a
PhD in a social science discipline, preferably sociology or social policy,
involving empirical research and the ability to conduct qualitative
interviews. A well-organised self-starter, you should have knowledge of
social movements/welfare groups and self-help organisations. Some
travel away from Leeds, with overnight stays, will be necessary.
