Thank you for this posted message. Following our earlier discussion I felt
that I should add a comment of Freud's Dream Analyses and Science. I am not
sure if I shall be able to attend but I consider the topic most interesting.
As an undergraduate (Chemistry with Maths, Lond) but 2 years before I
started learning German, I found myself reading some of the translated
works of Freud. I was very interested to read that a great chemist such as
Kekule had sought the advise of Freud. In fact on the very matter for which
kekule (1856) is so very famous namely that of discovering/suggesting that
the structure of Benzene was cyclic. Kekule was dreaming and saw snakes
that intertwined to form a ring.
I hope we shall receive feed-back during December from the conference by
list-members.
