What work has been done measuring blood loss from a fractured femur?
<<I seem to remember that there was some work (? at the Birmingham Accident
Hospital) which measured blood loss>>
Rob, you are correct. It was done by Gissane at B'ham Accident Hospital. The problem is that it was done before 1966 i.e. before Medline. I will try and track down the original work. It is quoted in Care of the Injured by Peter London (out of print) if anyone has access to this.
