Hi toh,
as you couldn´t produce any specific signs in neither lumbar spine nor SIJ
you might consider the following:
The skin over the lumbar spine, sacrum and upper gluteal region is
innervated by the upper lumbar facets. Also the iliolumbar ligament (have
you tested that as well ?) is innervated from L1-L2. Perhaps the problem you
are searching for, is an upper lumbar dysfunction (also described in
Maigne´s Syndrome).
If you would like to have more information about the SIJ, the book to buy
is:

Subject: SIJ problem
> Dear all,

> SIJ can be a problem in patients with low back pain. Recently, I have a
> patient who has pain at the left SIJ but the symptoms varies on different
> days and on repeated movement. Lumbar spine examination does not reproduce
> his pain which is on the sacrum (central). But there are some stiffness at
> the L4/5 and L5/S1 facet joints (left). As for SIJ, both PSIS are levelled
> and not hypomobile. Some laxity was found on the L SIJ. Compression test
> produced pain on the L PSIS.

> So now I am seeking for anyone who has experience with SIJ and what are
the
