Nursing Children and Adolescents with Mental Health Problems – An agenda for
action, 6th December 1999, Central London
FOCUS, the child and adolescent mental health project at the Royal College
of Psychiatrists’ Research Unit, is organising a one-day event in
collaboration with the Royal College of Nursing Institute (RCNi) and
YoungMinds. Designed to give nurses a voice in the development of child and
adolescent mental health services (CAMHS), this event aims to:
provide an opportunity to influence the developing agenda for CAMHS;
enable participants to learn more about changes within their profession;
provide a unique opportunity to network with people facing similar issues.
The event will feature a series of presentations focusing on key issues in
nursing in CAMHS and will end with a panel discussion. In addition, plenty
of time has been allowed for questions at the end of each session.
Delegate rates are offered at a subsidised rate of £90 per person. For a
conference booking form, please contact Catherine Ayres at FOCUS, The Royal
College of Psychiatrists’ Research Unit, 11 Grosvenor Crescent, London SW1X
