I promise I'll be quiet after this and let the list go back to "the real
issues" but since a number of people have written publicly to the list
worrying about whether its OK to think I'm funny, eg

I have to defend my honour. OF COURSE I'm being funny intentionally. I would
hate it if people didnt appreciate my sense of humour and I love feedback.
Humour is what keeps me going what with the poverty trap, the various disab
burdens, the isolation the madness of the wicked world.
I'll end with a tagline that an autistic e-friend coincidentally sent me
today, to reassure people that even without a PhD in the social model, people
"out there" intuit the real issues.
