Good morning Alex,
We all know that IQ was invented as a sorting device for young men to be
assigned their (Brave New World)slot in the armed forces in the us of a.
Neither the objective of becoming a trained killer, nor the method of having
my brain (metaphorically) beaten to a pulp, ever appealed to me, so I err on
the other side, and live in denial over having an IQ at all, and went to sea
instead.
I enjoyed Ray Bradbury's 'the illustrated man' alot, without wanting to be
one. Illustrating the body to me is a primitive form of 'bar-coding' which
was probably useful in tribal situations where the main reason for people to
beat each other over the head was different prejudices, and the common
desire to steal and rape each others women. Although a bit of raping and
pillaging may be attractive to some, it never has been part of my value
base, and hence I have echewed the adornments that represent it.
So, being sans iq and sans tattoo, I am in an obviously helpless and
hopeless situation.
Have a good day, I will, I will have lunch with my favorite social worker,
which will make me feel better.
rgds John
in sunny Yeppoon.
