Actually, I recently tried to get a transcript of a radio programme
from the BBC, a service that was introduced once the Listner stopped
being the 'journal of record' and was shut down as an uneconomic
proposition. The transcription service has followed suit; I think you
will have to pursue the production company to get copies. In passing,
while these changes may only affect a comparatively narrow range of
academics, it seems a bit much that a major media producer should make
gathering accurate (and therefore usable) information harder as time
goes on. Boo hoo
