I have a question for all the Sports Medicine physicians out there. I was
involved in many sports when i was younger and a couple of times my
orthopedic dr. considered injecting my ankles with cortizone to help with
the pain of chronic tendinitis, but each time he decided against it because
he said that it could cause the tendon to spontaneously rupture (or
something like that) and i was wondering if this is true and what the
frequency of this actually happening was. Thanks, Sarah
