I am seeking suggestions on secondary literature relative to what I call,
for lack of a better term, "group composition." By this, I mean the process
with which many early modern authors (and obviously not only) composed
their poems, partially thanks to a cultural milieu (academies, literary
salons, courts) that gave them access to oral and/or written suggestions on
their work which they later incorporated in successive drafts. My main
focus is Italy, but I am interested in bibliography relative to all of
Europe. Many thanks. I hope my query is sufficiently clear.
