This is just a sampling--there are tons of panels on various ethical
issues in health care, several historical panels, some on feminism and
bioethics.
The conference is,IMHO, very pricey. Student rates are reasonable
(except, of course, if you're a student). You can register for single
days -- $30 for students (a lot more for non-students). There's a
"special assistance" item to check off on the registration form, but I
haven't been able to find specifics about the accessibility of the hotel
(The Wyndham Franklin Plaza on 17th and Race Sts. -- 1-800-WYNDHAM) --or
whether or not sessions will be signed-- from the packet.
