Point DC-dot
http://www.ukoln.ac.uk/metadata/dcdot/
at http://www.ucl.ac.uk/. You'll see a repeated DC.Format meta tag.
Now change the 'Display format' to 'RDF' and note the use of an rdf:Bag to
hold the two values. Note that DC-dot generates the abreviated RDF/XML
syntax, which (I think) forces the use of an rdf:Bag for repeated
properties.
Note that section 3.3 of "Guidance on expressing the Dublin Core within
the Resource Description Framework (RDF)" also discusses the use of
rdf:Bag, and offers at least one example e.g.
http://www.ukoln.ac.uk/metadata/resources/dc/datamodel/WD-dc-rdf/#example14
showing its use (in the standard RDF/XML syntax) to repeat an element.
Note that *if* there is a semantic difference between the use of an
rdf:Bag and simply repeating the property and *if* the use of the
abbreviated syntax forces the use of rdf:Bag, then there is a potential
issue here - but suggest that discussion of this is continued on the
[log in to unmask] mailing list rather than dc-general.
