I always thought that Vincent had his ear cut off and was driven nutz by crows
in a cornfield.
Clearly, I've got to start keeping up with the literature.
Man, it's tough keeping all these saints straight, especially in a world full
of tenureless revisionist art historians.
Otoh, why am I naggingly uncomfortable with lumping the full-body
statue/reliquary of St. Foy--as a type--in with the legitimate body-part
replica vessels?
