How long ago did she "sprain" her ankle. Will she actively range it? How
about laying prone across a ball and gradually increasing the weight bearing
on her feet while she it either throwing at a target in the front or playing
a game in the front.
I would suggest holding her steady on the ball first at the hips then
gradually lowering your pressure down the leg and sneaking in light pressure
on the lateral ankle or on the plantar surface so she would weight bear on
your hand more than the floor. Can she bike? There is a little downforce
on to the foot. If you can give me feedback from trying those alternatives I
can perhaps provide you with a tad more information
