Thanks Deborah, I've explored fairly heavily childhood research including
the work of Berry Mayall and Priscilla Alderson. It is the coming together
of childhood and disciplinary research and whether a reflective
interpretation through this two lenses is appropriate and sufficient, that
is my current dilemma. Thank you for your interest regards Gill

Dear Gill,
The current sage research catalogue has several books on research
with
children.
Berry Mayal has written well on the subject.
