I am currently working through the practicalities of conducting an analysis
of interviews with disabled children. Coming from a health care discipline
which puts a high priority on traditional research approaches/theoretical
frameworks, there is pressure to conform, or to be able to clearly identify
why not.
What I want to do is to use the social model as a theoretical framework to
guide analysis and interpretation, but am having difficulty in identifying
literature which offers any guidance in relation to the "how to". I am not
seeking any step by step guidelines, but I'm really keen to know how others
have approached the process, and what is considered to be acceptable
practice.
