SENIOR LECTURESHIP/READERSHIP
IN HUMAN GEOGRAPHY
Applications are invited for a Senior Lectureship/Readership in Human
Geography, tenable from January 2000. Salary will be at an
appropriate point on the Senior Lecturer scale (£30,496-£34,464).
This is an exciting time to join a vibrant, ambitious and rapidly
expanding Department.
Candidates must demonstrate strong research commitment and
achievement. The new post is intended to further enhance the
Department of Geography's international research reputation. High
quality applications are invited from any branch of human geography,
but there is particular interest in candidates with a research focus
in population geography or any other field cognate to current staff
research. Applications from candidates also with GIS expertise in
human geography are especially welcomed.
