Correlations between acuity and (congenital) nystagmus parameters have been
reported by several authors, including R. Abadi, L. Dell'Osso, B. Winn and
us. The most important nystagmus parameter is generally agreed to be the
foveation duration - how long the image is approximately stationary on a
retinal locus on or near the fovea.
