Hi
Due to the very high level of list mail recently, and concerns
expressed by several list members, it is worth reminding everyone about
some points of list etiquette.
1. Please do not reply to the list if your message is only for one
person, or if it is simply of the 'me too' variety. Before you hit the
send button, ask yourself whether your contribution is really so
important that it should to be sent to 550 people worldwide and
publically archived on our web site for two years.
2. Please keep quotations of previous messages to an absolute minimum.
Only quote those passages of a message which are essential in
contextualising your contribution Recently, a number of people
have been including the full text of past messages in their replies.
This creates great difficulty for some readers, whose access technology
makes it difficult to distinguish between quotation and reply.
Thanks for your help.
Best Wishes
