But in a way it underlines part of what I was getting at - that though I
am well aware of this perspective, after all, I've been hanging around
the edges of the Disability Movement for years, have read all the books,
have lived the contradictions, gone to the conferences, and am better
placed than most to "get it" - nevertheless, the impact of these ugly
attempts to silence Peter Singer (as I see it) have so stirred me up -
that it has had a polarising effect - and started to undo what I have
learned.
