Hi list members...
My husband recently had a fasciotomy to his left calf following 3 similar
injuries over 6 months. The last incident resulted in an ER visit with
subsequent pressure checks and surgery. Both incisions are closed now and
healing nicely. I was wondering if there are specific precautions that
should be taken while stretching him. He has resolved his knee flexion
contracture but continues to have PF contracture, ambulates with abducted LE,
toeing out, and lacks the rocking over during stance. He understandably is
frustrated because he "can't walk right" and he's growing tired of his
crutches. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
