This assumes 1) that the search engine would permit regular expession
type searches on metadata properties, and 2) that its users would know
how to phrase this type of questions.
Most Internet search engines (i.e. AltaVista, Inktomi) has -- as far
as I know no provisions to conduct regular expression searches.
Also, my own research with users indicate that most non-expert users
do not grasp or are at least unlikely to use complex search concepts
such as regular expressions.
