EAST LONDON & THE CITY HEALTH
TWO PUBLIC HEALTH ANALYST
Circ. £25,000
The Directorate of Public Health & Health Strategy is seeking to appoint
two public health analysts to assist in the development of East London's
Health Improvement Programme. A key component of the posts will be to
research areas of strategy and policy development in priority health and
health care areas as identified by the Health Authority and Primary Care
Groups in either Newham or Tower Hamlets.
It is expected that the postholder will come with knowledge and some
experience of health service research techniques. The postholder will
also be expected to assist in responding to the operational agenda of
the Health Authority and Primary care Groups. This will involve
informing the debate necessary to resolve policy issues and resource
deployment. A broad range of research skills will be required; the
postholder will be encouraged to both contribute and learn from those
involved in public health practice in East London and further afield.
Job share applicants are welcome
