Dear List-members,
I would like to announce a new webpage, which will help people working on medieval women monasteries to
get in contact. The idea was born on a conference about books and education in late medieval women
monasteries, where we noticed how inportant it is to change informations between historians working on
broader aspects and people concentrating on one monastery.
Therefore this list presents names, postal addresses or e-mail-adresses, topics and - if wished - short overview
about projects and already finished work. (I would be glad to add articles, maps or other informations too.)
The members are studying mostly continental monasteries - especially German monasteries. This is one
reason, why this list is only in German in the moment - an English translation is planned.

I hope, that this list will connect research of different disciplines on women monasteries - please contact me, if
you would like to be added to the list.
Best wishes,
