Sounds about right, though every case will be different.

Agreed. Using a computer screen to replace paper documents isn't a
good use for the technology.
But at what point can you say the 'conversion' is complete?
We have a number of instances where a lecturer employs (say) CAL in
year 1, likes it and tries CAA in year 2 (different skills, different
training needs) and uses CMC in year 3 (ditto). Is this one
'conversion', or three?
Certainly one thing we have noticed is that academics rarely transfer their
LT skills to their peers - typically because they haven't the time to do so.
That means each conversion starts from a lower baseline than senior
management might anticipate.
