1) Feine et al ; Physical therapy a critique; Oral surgery, oral
medicine, oral pathology 1997;83:123-127
2) Feine and Lund; An assessment of physical therapy for the control of
chronic m/skel pain; Pain 1997;71:5-23
Both assess the efficacy of physio in musculoskeletal disorders
3)Bonica: The management of Pain 2nd edition is an excellent reference
book on pain
I also have a fairly hefty database on mostly chronic and cancer pain
and TENS including several systematic reviews should you need any
further info
