Sleep naked !!!!!!! Most of the calories we use are for maintaining body
temperature. If you can remain in cool environments more cals are used. If
you spend any time outdoors in a cold environment you need more cals just
because of the cold. (artic ration packs for the army>4000 cals per day).
Overnight, take covers off the bed, lower temperature = more cals. Takes
some getting used to apparently but my old consultant swore by it (but there
again he was a barking mad surgeon!).
