This is the first call for contributions to a symposium being held as
part of the annual meeting of the British Society of Gerontology
being held this year on 17-19 September in Bournemouth .
The theme for the conference is 'Tradition and Transition: Ageing
into the Third Millenium' and papers submitted for inclusion in the
symposium must address this main theme but be focussed around
European Social Policy issues and concerns.
If you are interested in submitting a paper, please submit your
abstract of not more than 250 words before 31st March
1999 and send it to the symposium convener,
