Hi World -
You'll have received a message which has been sent to the list,
wanting folk to forward it to hundreds of folk on the Internet. This
message is a hoax, and is an attempt to swamp the Internet, by
clogging up the system with junk mail - for those who have recently
joined PHYSIO, these chain letters do the rounds periodically. Don't
respond to these messages. Also look out for messages called Good
Times and Deyenda, which claim to have viruses attached, which will
contaminate your entire system. Check out the US Department of
Energy Computer Incident Advisory Capability at:
http://ciac.llnl.gov/ciac/CIACChainLetters.html and
http://ciac.llnl.gov/ciac/CIACHoaxes.html
which give full details of all these hoaxes.
Cheers!
Heather
