The organizing committee has made a tremendous effort to create
links between clinical issues and biomechanics. At least 5 of the
planned symposia directly relate to rehabilitation: biomechanics
of the spine, scoliosis, gait analysis of individuals with CP,
ACL-injured knees, ergonomics, and others.
Symposia are also planned in sport biomechanics, locomotion,
muscle mechanics.... Several of the parallel free communication sessions will be
organized to fit with the theme of applied clinical biomechanics
as well as many of the other interesting topics.
