In a light vein, someone once told me the following joke.
Two epidemiologists are leaving a party late one night and one drops
their car keys. The other following behind offers to help scrabble
around on the ground to look for them.
"Where did you drop them?" asks the second.
"Over there" says the first, pointing to a spot some feet away.
"Then why are we looking over here?"
"Because there's a street light on over here" comes the reply.
I am sure it has been well rehearsed in debate - the tendency to
research the things that are easier to research. Is this a real
issue?
