This is about the 3rd time I posted something on "Laptop" Ergonomics
over the past 3 years. We have seen a dramatic increase if the number
of people using or about to use laptops. Most of our field staff and
managers have them to work away from the office.
I have seen a lot of gadgets but nothing to really solve the ergonomic
issues...one of my co-workers puts it this way......"Laptop use defies
most ergonomic principles. Unfortunately the only person a laptop would
"fit" would be an anatomical mutant with arms exiting their waist and
eyes looking out from their chest level."....
Has anyone found information that supports laptop use? I am thinking
NO...and if there is does the screen detach from the notebook, if not
you must have one of these anatomical mutants working on the computer.
Looking forward to the discussions........
