Senior Lecturer and Director of the Centre for Learning and Teaching in
Higher Education
A new Centre is being established within the School of Education following
a review of the University's existing Certificate in Teaching in Higher
Education in the light of the Dearing Report and the remit of the
Institute for Learning and Teaching. The Director will be expected to
develop the present Certificate, completion of which will be a requirement
for new teaching staff. We are looking for an outstanding practitioner
with an excellent research record. Ability to work closely with senior
members of other Faculties as well as with newly appointed staff is
essential. A candidate with an outstanding research profile may be
considered for appointment as Reader.
