A quick scan through Skinner's Mining Manual and Mining Year Book for 1925
suggests that there were at least two British companies with mining
interests in China. Chinese Engineering and Mining Co. Ltd. who were
operating the Kaiping Collieries near Tongshanin the Province of Chihli,
northern China. Pekin Syndicate Ltd in possession of the mineral rights to
Honan province north of the Yellow River - working the Li Feng and Wang Feng
collieries.
