There are some documents relating to the Mancot pits in the Flintshire
Record Office, The Old Rectory, Hawarden, Flints, CH5 3NR. I don't have
details to hand, but no doubt they could readily be supplied. I think
that the pit was on Gladstone's Hawarden estate.
