Hello fellow Librarians,
My name is Scott McGowan and I'm the IT Librarian at Glasgow College Of
Building And Printing.
At the moment we are in the final stages of selecting a new Library system
(something which I'm sure many of you out there have been involved in this
year).
I'd like to ask all Librarians who use the Ameritech Horizon Library
Management System why they decided to opt for this system.
And having done so and used it for a while, what are its strengths and
weaknesses?
Any opinions on the technical support offered? Reliability of software /
hardware? Ease of use? Any quirks or foibles?
Additionally, what have been the real benefits of using Horizon?
