We are a small recently formed data management company specialising in GIS
and geo-spatial analysis. To maintain our growth and reputation for
quality, we are interested in recruiting bright, adaptable individuals (not
necessarily GIS professionals) who wish to establish a career in GIS (and
due to our large work commitment, can start asap!!)
We have vacancies for the following:
GIS Software Engineers:
- Practical experience in Mapping software (preferably MapInfo or ArcInfo)
- At least one of the following:
1. Knowledge of Internet technologies (eg Perl, Java, Html)
2. Practical experience in a commonly used programming language
3. Comprehensive practical experience in spreadsheets and data analysis
tools
4. Database development
The ideal candidate will be someone who has general experience in GIS with
a demonstrable aptitude for programming and problem solving, who wishes to
expand and further their GIS career.
GIS Technicians.
- Must have a practical knowledge of GIS
- Practical experience in at least one of the following areas:
1. Digitising
2. Address matching
3. Data handling and manipulation
4. Spatial analysis
The ideal candidate will be someone wishing to build a career in GIS and
gain valuable experience and training.
