I am running an analysis in ABAQUS/Standard V5.7 and am reading in
field variables over aperiod of time. I have a results file with data
for the time periods 5.1, 10.2, 15.3, 20.4, 25.5 and 30.6 years at
increments 10, 20, 30, 40, 51 and 61 respectively.
I am trying to obtain results at a particular point in time ie. 22
years. Due to scaling factors the field variable time history does
not behave as it should.
I have also tried adding data to the results file for the time 22
years at an increment of 45, and applying two steps to the analysis.
One to take the analysis up to 22 years and then another step to
continue from 22 years up to 30.6 years. When plotting the time
history of this field variable against time it shows a linear response
up to 22 years as expected then between 22 and 25.5 years it falls off
slightly, then from 25 years to 30.6 years the response is linear
again but instead of using the 25.5 year data it is being scaled down
somehow.

Has anyone experienced this, and do you know how to overcome it?
